What an incredible World of Wildlife gathering we had on Saturday afternoon (AEST time). Thank you to all who attended!
Not only were participants from around the world first to hear updates from Dr Wong Siew Te about Itam, the sun bear in Borneo, but also Wong's exciting plans for International Sun Bear Day (May 16th).
We also learned about the incredible organisation, the Queensland Koala Crusaders, from our local koala experts, Linda Barnes and David Mackenzie. Our guest speakers led an eye-opening session, discussing crucial initiatives from habitat protection, caring for carers, and their vision for 2032.
