Jessie is a recent graduate of the University of the Sunshine Coast, where she completed a Bachelor of Animal Ecology with a focus on wildlife conservation.
Throughout her studies, she dedicated much of her research to koala ecology, behaviour, and habitat protection, and she is passionate about applying science to real-world conservation challenges.
Jessie has also worked hands-on with local organisations in habitat restoration, volunteer coordination, and community outreach, helping to build strong partnerships with landholders and councils.
In her role as Research Coordinator, Jessie is excited to support Queensland Koala Crusaders’ mission through research, monitoring, and collaboration - working to ensure a safer future for koalas and the many species that share their habitat.
