From Challenges to Solutions:
Advancing koala conservation through innovation
Since the last national conference in 2023, our knowledge of koalas and their habitats have deepened. Advances in monitoring technology, progress in disease management, and bold initiatives in breeding and translocation are reshaping koala conservation. Combined with tireless efforts in rehabilitation and grassroots action, this momentum sets the stage for the 2026 National Koala Conference.
The conference will bring together researchers, wildlife carers and practitioners, and policy makers to share these developments.
The challenges for koalas persist – so what’s next?
