Have you ever wanted to be a Koala Hero??

This is your chance! Saturday 28th April we will be holding our 2nd Koala Community Awareness Initiative Workshop at Futures Centre Pomona (Noosa District Landcare Group Headquarters).

This workshop is the 2nd workshop of our Koala Community Awareness and Rescue Initiative Grant facilitated by Noosa Council.

The workshop will run from 9am -4pm and will include Rescue Training by qualified instructors represented from Wildcare Australia and Moreton Bay Koala Rescue.

The day will consist of hands on training and beginning certification for rescue through Wildcare Australia. Participants will be required to become members of QKC Inc and Wildcare on the day and will receive rescue training by qualified professionals in the field.

Further climbing training will be available to eligible participants later in the year.

Please bring a dish to share for lunch and morning tea will be provided by QKC Inc.
