Meet Bruce – The Fearless Foodie!

Bruce’s journey began at the bottom of Horseshoe Bay Hill on Magnetic Island, where he was found alone on the road by a kind local named Bruce. Sadly, there was no sign of his mum, but thanks to swift rescue efforts, he was given a second chance.

Initially, Bruce was cared for by Magnetic Island Fauna Care Organisation (MIFCO) while his foster carer recovered from a broken arm. Once she was able to syringe-feed again, he returned to her care—where his cheeky personality quickly shone through! Unlike most little joeys, Bruce has never been intimidated by the bigger babies. He’s full of confidence and always eager for his next meal.
